ABSTRAK
Sistem otomatisasi
perparkiran Universitas Widyatama merupakan suatu sistem yang dirancang
berbasis komputer untuk dapat meningkatkan pelayanan perparkiran seiring dengan
diraihnya sertifikat ISO 9001 oleh Universitas Widyatama dimana sistem ini
menggunakan Barcode ID sebagai pengganti kartu parkir. Sistem ini juga dapat
digunakan sebagai monitoring frekuensi kendaraan dalam suatu kurun waktu
tertentu, sebagai pendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pengembangan luas area
perparkiran dan juga dapat meningkatkan keamanan di lingkungan Universitas
Widyatama.
Proses pembangunan sistem dimulai dengan tahap analisis sistem kemudian
dilakukan perancangan yang meliputi perancangan proses dan perancangan basis
data. Perancangan proses dilakukan dengan menggunakan tool Data Flow Diagram (DFD) yang kemudian ditransformasikan
kedalam modul-modul program untuk keperluan implementasi. Sedangkan perancangan
basis data dilakukan dengan metode pemodelan Entity Relationship Diagram (ER-Diagram).
Implementasi pembangunan sistem informasi ini menggunakan bahasa
pemrograman Visual Basic 6, Active Server
Pages (ASP) dan menggunakan Microsoft
Access XP sebagai Database Management
System.
